Project 3 - Room Team

I believe we have 274 and we'll soon be ready to transform it. Rob will be buying wood from the lumber yard and it should cost us less than $25. Also i'll be getting the cardboard to cover up windows. As for the padding on those pipes we havent decided firmly on what material we will be using for that...we could use cardboard in the worst case scenario. I believe Mark has black fabric available to us, yes? no?? I just dont know when will we have full access to the room so we can start transforming it.

Hi Room Team:

Try to minimize the amount of new material you have to buy (and discard) for the room transformation. Perhaps you don't need to close off the end of the room? Maybe a rope would be enough. You could use a rope to "block" the pipes as well.

You'll be able to test everything in the room next Monday night, but everything will have to be moved out to the great hall afterwards. There are classes in the room during the week. On the day of the event, you'll have access as of 11:30AM - keep this constraint in mind.

if we're still worried about the pipe issue, we can always buy that pipe insulator that provides minimal padding but I'm pretty sure its crazy cheap.

Do we really need the padding? Are people going to start throwing themselves around in the dark? Unless there are things to hit your head on, I wouldn't worry about it.

i checked the room today and i dont think that padding is necessary...just covering them with a sheet of cardboard should work
