Hey guys,
I took a little trip to the lumber yard today, to get an idea of cost for lumber. This is the most basic supplies I could think of to build the frame. $1.97 for 2"x3"x8' and $5.77 for thin 4'x8' ply wood. I also thought for safety reasons, we might want to look into foam padding for the pipping that runs on the East wall. I also think we should talk to the wood shop, whether they had any timber to spare or, if once out exhibit is done, they could use the wood afterwards to keep the waste to a minimum.

Wood shop and first year shop definately have some timber to spare...i can go ask about dimentions that they have this thursday so we keep the consistency of the boards. And padding is a good idea...maybe we could get something from aboveground like cellfoam?? just for one wall...
hey guys, pading is a good idea. but maybe it would be easier and chaper to just hand curtains rather that build a wall. also think of what we would need to block out the windows? cardboard? maybe the same fabric as we use for curtains?
i can get cardboard for free =DD
