I enjoy the colour bands a lot. Ockam's Razor and clear affordances all in one. Do they need instructions? Are there many sizes? Are there any non-perpendicular slits? How do you deliver them?
Sorry about how late this comment is, I think you had some great ideas. The one that caught my eye, was actually the one that you didn't really develop, it was the one involving blind drawing. I think there is a lot of potential there.
