John is a 29 year old condo-dwelling investment banker. He loves fast cars and faster woman. When walking his dog through Butterfield park he stumbled on a wall with several peep holes on it at different levels. People were already looking in the holes and this made John curious so he decided to look for himself. In each hole there were different (depressing) facts about the environment (and possibly other issues). One hole had a video monitor which was playing what John figured out to be a live feed of him looking in that peephole. John was confused as to why that peephole was included with a bunch about the environment. After looking at all the peepholes John was kind of depressed and then a man offered him a bottle of water to cheer him up. It was a long day and John was thirsty so he drank the water quickly. After finishing the water he threw the bottle in an empty recycling bin. When the bottle entered the bin a strange thing happened; the whole bin overflowed with bottles! John then understood the purpose of the peephole that was a live feed of himself. He realized that his consumption and lifestyle of disposibility was part of the process of destroying the planet and exploiting people. He started buying less, buying organic, and buying local products but that wasn't enough. He snapped one day at work and quit his job and moved to Guelph Ontario to farm organic hemp and and have mad drum circles all night long. His dog is a lot happier there.
